In the last quarter of 2024, the performance of top fast food and fast casual restaurant apps on the Android platform in Central America showcased interesting trends. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps experienced varied patterns in terms of downloads and active user engagement.

McDonald's Offers and Delivery, published by Arcos Dorados, saw a fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 41.7K in early October, with a slight dip mid-quarter, and closing the year at around 27.1K. Active user numbers peaked in early December at roughly 670K before declining to 518K by the end of December.

For KFC México, downloads began at 19.9K, with a notable increase in mid-December, reaching a peak of 70.8K. Active users showed a steady rise, starting at 132K and reaching a high of 191K by late December.

Domino's Pizza México experienced a consistent pattern in downloads, starting at 31.7K, dipping slightly mid-quarter, and peaking at 34.7K towards the end of December. Active users increased steadily from 360K in early October to about 393K by year-end.

Starbucks México saw its downloads fluctuate throughout the quarter, starting at 7.4K, peaking at 31K in mid-December, and closing the quarter with 31.3K. The active user count remained robust, peaking at 508K in mid-November before ending the year at 455K.

Lastly, Little Caesars maintained a steady download rate, beginning at 16.3K and peaking at 18.2K in mid-December. Active users showed significant growth, starting at 47.4K and reaching a peak of 111K in late December.
